I was lucky enough to be one of 20 people who recently won a Betrousse Organic & Natural Beauty Kit after entering a giveaway via the BeTrousse UK Facebook page. I have actually come to expect very good things from Betrousse as I have had the opportunity to review a couple other Betrousse Beauty Kits in the past and just like the other boxes, this kit was a good one too!  

I love reviewing Betrousse kits, so as well as showing you what I won, I'll also do a full review and share my thoughts with you all! 

About Betrousse

Betrousse is already a renowned beauty box provider in France. They have quite recently brought their concept to the UK beauty box market but they have still retained so much of that famous French glamour and sophistication. They usually offer mainly high quality French products and a few English products in their beauty kits.

I find the entire Betrousse concept to be very innovative and fun. I love the fact that all of their boxes contain full size products and that you don't need to subscribe to anything. Just simply check out what new boxes they have available and if there is one you would like to purchase, you can buy it without having to commit to buying more. Unlike many other beauty boxes, with Betrousse you always know what products you are getting in your box so you don't have to worry about being left feeling disappointed by the contents of the box not being what you wanted.

Fro Her Aloe and Honey Hair Mist

Fro is the only British brand included in this Betrousse box and it's something I'm really excited about! My hair is a tiny bit on the overly processed side at the moment so anything that promises to soften and strengthen like this is perfect for my hair right now! I think that the Aloe Vera and Honey ingredients are very intriguing and quite unusual for haircare! I also noticed Hydrolysed Wheat Protein and Hydrolysed Keratin among the ingredients which both have strengthening properties!

This is a really unique product and I don't think that I have ever come across a serum for the eyes and lips before! It has a little dropper in the lid which is perfect for measuring out the tiny amount you need to use for your eyes and lips. This serum is packed full of 100% organic certified oils and the main ingredient is Macadamia ternifolia seed oil which we all know is a really amazing ingredient for skincare and haircare.

The Lothantique Bath and Shower gel comes in the most beautiful vintage inspired packaging! Plus, it looks and smells amazing and just like real honey! I also noticed that there aren't any SLS ingredients in here which is a big plus for me! Honestly, I think I am in love with this and it just looks and feels like so much more than a shower gel - it's beautiful!

Well, it really does seem like Argan Oil is in everything these days! But this soap looks a bit special as it contains organic Argan oil and only natural perfumes / colours with no parabens. I'm sure this soap is going to be lovely and moisturising plus it's SLS free too! The fragrance is quite strong and not entirely to my liking but it's growing on me bit. The fragrance comes from essential oils and is really quite different to the artificial kind of fragrances that most of us are accustomed to in out beauty products.

I really like the concept behind this product. It is a mascara for hair which can be used to temporarily touch up roots / regrowth between colourings. But sadly, this is in the shade black and I am blonde so I have no use for this whatsoever! So, I'll be passing this onto somebody else who can enjoy it.

As you can probably see, there was an interesting mix of products in this Betrousse Organic and Natural Beauty Box and I'm so pleased that I was lucky enough to win all of these lovely goodies to try! Thank you very much Betrousse for running your great Facebook giveaways and for bringing the Betrousse concept to the UK!
