Miss Beauty Saver // A British Makeup and Beauty Blog: Bourjois FREE Gift With Purchase at Boots

At this time of year, I really like to go to town on beauty shopping (pardon the pun)! There are some great special offers around and one of my favorite festive deals is the free gift with purchase makeup kits available from several brands at Boots.

I got this lovely Bourjois makeup kit containing 4 full size makeup items for free with my recent £15+ spend on Bourjois products.

The set is worth £27.96 and contains: Smoky Eyes Trio Eyeshadow #01 in Gris Dandy (£7.99), Volume Glamour Max Holidays Mascara in Black (£5.99), So Laque Ultra Shine Nail Enamel #27 in Beige Glamour (£5.99), Rouge Edition Lipstick in #02 Beige Trench (£7.99).

In order to be eligible for the free Makeup Kit gift, I had to spend at least £15.00 on Bourjois makeup so I purchased a couple of products that took my fancy whilst browsing in-store. The first item I picked up was the bronzing powder and highlighter (£7.99). I've never tried a Bourjois 'chocolate' bronzer before but I've only ever heard good things about them. I'm really excited to try this bronzer and highlighter as it's a relatively new addition to their range and I have incorporated the sculpted cheek look into my everyday makeup routine so this duo is something I will be getting a lot of use from!

Concealer is one of those makeup products I use daily to conceal dark circles under my eyes and any blemishes. My go to concealer over the past couple of years has been the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer which provides excellent coverage but rather than repurchase another one, I wanted to try something new. I'm hoping this Happy Light Concealer (£8.99) will be a nice alternative, providing the same high coverage I'm used to but hopefully in a slightly less dry formula. This can also be used as an eyeshadow primer which is quite exciting!
