I've been in need of a new daily facial moisturizer to keep my skin well moisturized throughout the Autumn / Winter months.
Recently, I've been using this John Gosnell's Original Vitamin E Cream and it's wonderful! This product has got so much to offer and the company itself has a lot of interesting history behind it.
John Gosnell are actually the oldest
cosmetics manufacturer in Britain today and they can trace their history
back a massive 337 years to 1677! Today, they are an Independent
Cosmetics House and a family run business, mainly producing products for
other brands and companies to sell. However, the Original Vitamin E
Cream is one of their star products and has been launched under their
own labeling and branding.

The
packaging is beautiful, I adore anything that is pretty and vintage
looking. I could imagine this cream taking pride of place on any elegant
lady's dressing table in years gone by! It smells incredible and I honestly cannot describe it accurately but it's very ladylike and almost theraputic!
My skin type is combination and this cream hasn't made my oily places any oilier (forehead and chin) and has kept my dry patches (nose and cheeks) from getting drier and flaky. I
like to use this as a day cream as it is light enough to wear under my
makeup but it's still hydrating enough to keep my skin moisturized
during the colder weather.
This cream contains Wheatgerm Oil, Shea Butter and Olive Oil which are all super moisturizing ingredients. It's also full of Vitamin E which is an anti-oxidant and can help prevent premature aging. I particularly enjoy using Vitamin E to help heal those stubborn red marks and slight acne scars where spots and blemishes have been.
This cream is suitable for all skin types, is
paraben free and cruelty free.
